Fiamma Fire Braised Meats

Fiamma Fire Braised Meats is the retail concept for a line of deli meats created by fire-searing and slow-braising. With a logo and packaging concept already determined, the goal of this project was to unify the existing elements with fleshed out art direction and branding.
The brand positioning was inspired by the definition of alchemy —“A seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination.” Fiamma Meats use a blend of nature (fire and time) and science (Hormel’s unique searing and braising process). This idea was translated into the art direction and design tone with lots of geometric angles, distressed metals, gritty texture, high-contrast styling, and a brand voice aimed to intrigue.
